VIPA System 100V - Micro-PLC 112/114/115 for STEP 7 from STEP7 of Siemens

The VIPA System 100V - Micro-PLC 11x is acompact miniature controller that can be programmed by means of VIPA WinPLC7 or Siemens STEP7. The module comprises a CPU with an instruction set that is compatible with the Siemens S7-300 thatf eatures integrated digital inputs and outputs.4 DI can be configured as high speed counters (up to 30kHz) or alarm inputs; 2 DO can be configured as pulse outputs with up to 50kHz. The Micro PLCs 114 and 115 have got two analog potentiometers. The module is installed directly on a standard 35mm rail. Due to the highly compact construction and the favorable price-performance ratio the VIPA System 100V is suitable for applications in environments that require very few I/Os where the use of a PLC was previously not considered.

VIPA System 300V - Compact PLC CPU 314/315/316/317 for STEP 7 from Siemens Compact PLC CPU 31x

The PLC CPU series 31x are components of the VIPA System 300V concept. These powerful CPUs combine adequate memory capacity with a high processing speeds The range of functions of entire 31x family is scaleable. A single CPU can interface with up to 32 modules. In addition to the VIPA WinPLC7 programming software the user can also utilize the other tools that are available on the open market.

VIPA System 300S - The High-Speed control system

With the VIPA “SPEED7 Technology”, system 300S is the fastest control system in the world programmable with Step®7 from Siemens. The maximum memory for program and data has already been integrated into the SPEED7 CPUs. For this reason the CPUs can be operated without an additional memory card. Depending on the CPU type, the integrated work memory can be expanded to 8MByte with the VIPA Memory extansion card as required. All CPUs in the System 300S are equipped with an Ethernet Interface for PG/OP communication. A CP 343 interface for TCP/IP communication has been integrated in the ‘NET’ CPUs.  Because of its high performance and scalable memory, system 300S is especially suitable for mid to high range applications.

VIPA Module for application in S7-400

VIPA Communication processor CPU 443 for S7-400 from Siemens CPU 443

With the VIPA CP 443, the VIPA System 400V, offers a communication processor for programming and process data acquisition via Ethernet in complex applications. The VIPA adaptation box CM 470 is suitable for the application of S5-135U®. Both modules are compatible to S7-400® from Siemens.

The communication processor CP 443 is a powerful network connection for efficient exchange of data between automation systems, PLC and HMI as well as between a number of automation systems.This intelligent module has a mini hub to enable the direct connection of several systems. Local diagnostics and commissioning for more complex applications are eased greatly by the integrated interface for keyboard, mouse and monitor (digital/analog).

System 500S-The PC control system

With the VIPA “Speed7 Technology”, system 500S is the fastest control system, programmable with Step®7 from Siemens, in the world. The maximum memory for program and data has already been integrated into the SPEED7 CPUs. Depending on the CPU type, the integrated memory can be expanded up to 8MByte respectively using the appropriate VIPA MCC - Memory extansion card. The VIPA system 500S has been designed for operation in a PC slot with PCI interface. An OPC server for communication between CPU and PC is included in the scope of delivery. Peripherals are connected through the integrated Profibus-DP-Master interface. The CPUs are equipped with an Ethernet interface for PG/OP communication. The CPU 517S/NET has an additional CP343 for TCP/IP communication. Owing to their high performance (Speed7 Technology) and their scaleable memory, the CPUs are suitable for complex control tasks.
